The Kickstarter "survey" is basically a questionnaire that the popular crowdfunding platform requires all users to fill out in order to receive their physical rewards. Without it, the campaign manager cannot see your mailing address. They can also ask a few extra questions, such as finding out what options or sizes you wanted when you backed the campaign. 

However, Kickstarter doesn't make it easy to find the survey, and many users either ignore the emails or the emails go to their spam folders.

This guide will show you how to access your Kickstarter Survey.

To begin, open a web browser and navigate to kickstarter.com.

​

 

In the top right corner of the screen, you’ll see either your picture and name or a “Sign in” option.

​

 

Click on “Sign in” if you’re not already logged in.

If you aren't already signed in, you'll need to enter your Kickstarter credentials on the following screen to access your account.

When you are signed in, you’ll see your profile picture in the top right of the screen.  Click on it.

After clicking on your profile picture, you’ll get a window that shows several different options.  It may look a little different than mine. Look for the “Backed Projects” column and click on “View all” underneath it to bring up the next page.  It should look close to this, although with different projects.

​Find the campaign you’re looking for on the left and follow it across to the white “plus” in a blue circle.  Click on that.

​In the final screen, you will see details about your pledge and the project.  Look near the top for the word “Survey” and click on it.

After clicking on it, you will either be able to see what you filled out or you can now fill it out if you haven’t already.
 

If you don’t see the word “Survey” at the top, then you have not yet been sent your survey or your creator isn’t using the Kickstarter Survey.  Though there are other options out there (Pledge manager and Backer Kit to name a few), For THIN BUE LINE, we are using Kickstarter Surveys for getting addresses and Pledge information from Backers.
